Having grown up in the highlands of Scotland, I have always drawn inspiration from the nature of my surroundings. My work explores the medium of oil paint and is inspired by photographic snapshots of reflections. The atmospheric, subtly blurred tones and colours capture the mood and sometimes unnoticed viewpoints of a particular scene. Recently I have also been working on portraits. I am currently based at The New Arts Centre in Chatham.
