Abstraction
My primary source of inspiration comes from erosion of natural and man-made elements. Close up views of rusting metals, peeling paint, rock formations inspire me to create intricate compositions providing a wealth of textural explorations. Whether natural or man-made, exposed surfaces are governed by the elements. My paintings are created through a series of multi-media layers. Using oils and binding resins enables me to create infused layers which express the aesthetics of my inspiration.
