Inspired by lived life and memories, optical art, plants and the human body, I am creating leather bags/ body pieces. The handcrafted statement bags relate to the body as an extension of clothing, and invite the wearer to interact with their form. I find bags interesting because they can carry a life- they tell stories about their owner. I aim to make bags a larger part of the outfit.
