Naomi was born in Margate, Kent but has lived and worked in Gravesend for nearly 30 years.
After many years of working in 3D media, for the final year of her foundation degree Naomi decided on a change of direction and the new challenge of art photography. Her only previous experience of photography was only taking family snaps. Naomi is influenced by cinematic imagery and often her photographs are staged to reflect how she would imagine them to be painted on canvas.
With the camera as her brush Naomi uses colour, perspective and narrative to explore the tension between the fantasy and reality of everyday lives.
