Medway Eyes is an informal umbrella organisation that supports, promotes and collaborates with Medway artists and venues.
Nucleus Arts Centre (formerly the New Art Centre) is the largest artist's studio complex in North Kent. It's a creative hub, a meeting space for like minds and a proven incubator for local artistic talent.
Our work focuses on making the arts more accessible to a wide range of people, and promoting the work and contribution that all artists can make to the quality of life in Maidstone.
The Other Cinema and Screen Classics events aim to provide a platform for debate for an audience who both appreciate and enjoy groundbreaking cinema from around the world. Cineastes in the Medway area do not now have to travel as far afield as London or Canterbury to enjoy the best of current releases or great cinema classics on the big screen.
The arts make Medway an attractive place to live, work or visit. Medway Council’s arts team has a strong commitment to providing the best arts and entertainment possible by offering a comprehensive programme of visual art exhibitions and projects, an active music and performing arts programme with specialist dance provision, a range of youth arts initiatives and a literature programme.
