I am inspired by nostalgia and vintage patterns. The notion of ‘high tea’ with its elaborate table settings and ‘handcrafted’ ceramics. I aim to embody this attention to detail by exploring aspects of surface pattern, mixed media and juxtapositions of found and made.
The forms play on the similarities and differences between paper and porcelain, sometimes substituting one for the other and each essentially is a canvas for the decorative.
