The key theme which runs through my work is eclectic fusion, drawing mostly from 18th century rag dolls to contemporary fashion dolls and giving them a fresh interpretation, allowing me to pick and choose and be very explorative in my applications in the field of design e.g. using elements of toys, cartoon characters and men's gadgets. This injects a quirky element into the overall perception of my work. The large banners work as 7ft fashion illustrations and the smaller textile pieces (Neckscarves and handkerchiefs) are part of the same collection.
